面接は通常、8時頃に始まり、昼食を含めて、3時頃には終了します.
質問事項は、How are you?や How was the trip?から始まり、込み
入った質問になっていきます. 実例を挙げておきます.

面接は時として、非常にストレスとなります. しかし、
麻酔レジデンシーも終わりに近くなり、フェロウ応募の段階と
なると、0ral Boardが視野に入るようになり、ー流の教授陣
に向かって「対」で話ができる機会というのは、大変ために
なります. 今回の面接でも、少なくとも5名の0ral Board
Examinersと話をする機会を得ました.
また、色々なReview Courseなどで、志望先の教授が講義している
場合、講演後に直接質問に行ったりすることも効果的です.
私は、Mcgill University Review Courseに参加した際、Emory
Univ.のDr. Levyに質問がてら、自己紹介しておきました.
これは、今回面接を非常に楽にしてくれました.
Interviewは質問を受けるだけではありません.

What rotations (e.g. thoracic, peds,
ICU) other than adult
cardiac cases do you have for fellows?
How long is the TEE rotation?
What sort of cases do you handIe
(e.g. MIDCAB, Transplant,
Heart port}?
ls the ICU covered by anesthesia?
Where are your graduates? In acadewics or private practice?
How is the staff turnover?
Are there opportunities for research? Is there a non-cIinical day?
How do you obtain funds for research?
Are the fellows presentint papers at the national meetings?
How do you evaluate fellows?
